For fans of RUFUS DU SOL, Hermitude, and the like DejaVilla delivers something exotic and eloquent all at the same time, communicating a certain international flavor in the single, “Chocolate In Your Pocket”. Soft percussion and gently trotting house beats set the audible scene for the elating vocals that cue in. The works certainly fitting the pallet of what we know about their signature sound- many high-notes with this one.
Performances include past dates in the USA via Alleycat Amateur Theater, Soho House Ludlow, Harman Store, and a healthy stream/brand presence is more of the norm the duo – all of which seemingly indicates there’s something folks can’t enough of from David Marston and Sarah Couch aka DejaVilla.
