DEMUR is at it again. The DJ/producer has only expanded the realm of content that his music is at the center of, making posters available for purchase, doing live guerrilla marketing in Los Angeles, and now starting new projects like podcasts and collaborating with the drummer of OK Go.
His new single “Stairs” is easily one of my favorite yet, offering a softer juxtaposition to his rougher, grittier, darker tunes such as his Nirvana remix or his originals “Declaration” and “Traumatize”.
This dude is different, and that’s respectable on its own, but the quality is there too: combining elements like breaks, jersey bass, and a handful of elements with in the bass music realm. This dude is offering a dynamic balance of sounds and content, curious to see what he does next.
