Today, Deorro treated us with a tri-release of remixes of one of his biggest tracks, “Dechorro.” Since 2011 Deorro has been touring and producing original tracks and remixes that have launched him into the highest ranks of electronic music. This meteoric rise has resulted in collaborations with Diplo, Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke, and Tommie Sunshine, to name a few. He has also been on a touring tear in 2014, hitting 29 locations in North America since March. To add to that impressive number, the venues he has been invited to include Ultra, Coachella, Pacha NYC, Encore Beach Club in Vegas, and Story in Miami. Suffice it to say, the 22-year-old has had an awesome year thus far.
After cracking the Beatport top 20 as well as eliciting huge responses from crowds in global clubs, festivals, and shows, “Dechorro” was ripe for the remixing. Uberjack’d, Chardy, and Whyel have taken on the daunting task of improving such a huge song by embedding their own artistic flavor in a variety of styles. The Aussies Uberjack’d and Chardy bring some Melbourne bounce to the already dynamic track while Whyel adds in his own electro-house seasoning. The result is a remix package that will get you out of your chair and wishing you were hearing it with thousands of other people all bouncing and gyrating in unison.
