Coming back from Vol. 1, BREATH Re-Imagined Vol. 2, is the second installment in the three part series. It features a selection of handpicked artists to create an incredible downtempo, house-driven soundscape experience. The compilation showcases talent such as Luca Bacchetti, The Invisible People (aka An-Ten-Nae), Bosa, Coss & Iorie, and Unders, who take the bare bones of the of the 2019 album, BREATH, and put their own stamp on the ethereal tracks.
This collection is beautifully composed; you can tell producers Amani Friend and Trevor Moontribe put time into selecting artists who would round out this repertoire and make it into something special and similar, yet uniquely it’s own. Desert Dwellers’ signature world beat vibes are still wholly present, while the intertwinement of strong percussion and deep house elements add a distinct, yet familiar twist to the original album.
