Designer Drugs & Alvin Risk‘s new record ‘Empty Hearted’ has the opening elements of an electro house record but quickly builds into a filthy dubstep drop. You can clearly hear the styles of each artists in the mix. Similar to ‘Skyclad’, Risk’s emotive vocals play a huge role in pulling this tune together.
This collaboration is a perfect example of why I think Alvin is one of the most underrated EDM producers, along with D.D. – it’s only a matter of time until he turns into a main stage mainstay. Purchase ‘Empty Hearted’ on iTunes.
