What happens when Dillon Francis and Example get together to make a track? The answer lies within this collab titled ‘Someone To Die For’, which Francis produced for Example’s album The Evolution of Man. An upbeat tune with an almost summer / club sound to it. Francis’ described it as “very singy songy” and having “really laidback vibes”.
Most impressive was Example’s flow which begins around the 2 minute mark. Lyrical depth that didn’t seem forced or cheesy; Something 90% of current artists’ who depend on their rhymes for a living can’t honestly cheer about. He also did the hook and chorus, highlighting his multi-talents and proving why he remains so relevant throughout the scene right now. Awesome track.
