Moombahton chosen one, Dillon Francis, just released a 3 track EP called “Something, Something, Awesome” on Skrillex’s OWSLA label. This project features the ‘Dill The Noise’ collab with Kill The Noise, which we previewed for you earlier this week.
‘Falling Up’ and ‘Now Hear This’ are the other two ball-busting massive tunes joining the single track we dropped. Francis, who maintains a cynical, jokester, jack-ass of a persona on Twitter (which I love), whole-heartedly solidifies himself as a game changer and production aficianado with this kind of work. The way the bass seamlessly mends itself into the loopy synth creates such a smooth dance sound from head to hips, in my opinion.
Now might also be a good time to mention that Dillon created a personal avi on Twitter for me a few months ago. It included my dome piece and 4 cats. Inspiring work. I love the personality this guy brings to the table.
