Get ready to go crazy and prepare to go “Berzerk” with the sounds of the latest single from Excision protégé and Rottun Recordings own Dion Timmer. It’s fair to say it’s been quite the heady year for the 18 year old producer and DJ: collabs with Excision and Datsik (on the infamous “Harambe”), remix work for The Chainsmokers and Coldplay and opening up numerous shows on Excision’s tour.
We find ourselves blessed with some brand new solo material from one of our favourite Dutch producers, out now on Rottun Recordings “Berzerk” shows that Dion Timmer has the skills to show his production diversity – dark, brooding with menacing raps from featured artist MagMag, “Berzerk” highlights the darker side of his sound we hadn’t previously heard before. As an added bonus Timmer has also put together and hour long mix ahead of his slot at Lost Lands Festival: “Neon Mix 2: Lost Lands Edition” showcases his talent behind the decks and is a taster of what to expect as the show draws nearer.
