I guess MTV was trolling us? Or they just don’t know what they’re talking about. A tweet by Diplo, made on October 15th, clarified the false news.
For what it’s worth, I still enjoy “All That Matters”. Regardless, keep on the look out for a Diplo x Bieber release in the future.
Update: Diplo’s been on a roll lately, between releasing his “Revolution” EP and producing a record for the forthcoming Hunger Games film, he has found time to collaborate with Justin Bieber on his newest release; “All That Matters” (according to MTV). Bieber has been making his way around EDM blogs and news websites over the last few days due to his altercation with Michael Woods. However, with all of that aside, this sensual piece of music is worth putting your ears on.
Diplo previously worked with Bieber on his last album, “Believe”, so their follow-up release comes as no surprise to us. Through slick guitar work, a smooth instrumental formula, and a sexual sound design, Diplo provides a platform for Justin to pour his heart into. This isn’t the first time Diplo has traveled outside of the EDM world to produce for a pop act, and as always we applaud his diversity.
