“27 Club” made it’s around the dance scene, in part, due to the fact Diplo produced the tune Ivy Levan beautifully sings atop.
CLVY does something I’ve loved hearing lately. Making drops simple, yet melodic, but creating a world of sound around all the other parts of the track. Something about this combination makes me tick. Interscope and Cherry Tree enjoyed it too, signing the remix and making it one the official remixes for the track.
Regardless of the micro-details, “27 Club (CLVY Remix)” just feels good, soothing, and soulful.
