Last night Diplo dropped this mix through his soundcloud title “got stoned and mixed really old records for a half an hour”. He followed up with “don’t do drugs” in the description, ironically, considering the album art which in hindsight sums up the mix. Naked hippie threesome, space, lines of coke and proper utensils. Clarity at its finest.
Nothing surprises me from Diplo anymore. He’s a jack of all trades…a game changer who does what he wants and the people like it regardless. Trippy 70’s rock from a man who is truly his own embodiment of avant-garde.
