Dirtybird is easily one of our favorite record labels here, from amazing music always coming through like the latest from Marc Houle’s “Min and Soda” to hosting Dirtybird Campout and showcases that grow the flock each time. The record label just recently announced their locations for their BBQ series for this summer and based off last year’s posts, we know it’s going to be one hell of a block party. Dirtybird will be bringing their time-honored tradition to the Bay Area, L.A., Austin, the city vote winner, Denver, and Brooklyn. This event is near and dear to the hearts of the Dirtybird team, with being able to grow the family on both sides of the sound deck as well as with incredible chefs making lip-smacking grilled goodies. We hope that the mastermind behind the smoker, Charles Wilson aka Grill$on, rests in peace after his passing last year. He had been with the family since the very beginning days of their Golden Gate Park events. While the next chef has big shoes to fill, they will be met with the upmost love and tradition that is Dirtybird BBQ.

Be sure you also snag up the BBQ feast ticket if you love a good cookout, both traditional and vegetarian are available. Dirtybird will also be bringing back their “Best in Show” contest where you can get as weird and wonderful as you like. We can’t wait to come back to flock our feathers, bash on delicious B.B.Q and get down to some funky beats with our Dirtybird fam.
