As we all begin to close out 2018 and reflect, one thing that we have been thankful for is the endless amounts of Dirtybird releases throughout the year. From worldwide hits from FISHER, to Claude’s Live in Detroit album that blew us away both live and is now immortalized to listen to over and over again, it was amazing year of releases from Dirtybird.
To close out the year, we look to (and towards) The Future EP by Tom Flynn with the vocals of AMP Fiddler. The title track whispers into the air softly, picking up with Tom’s gentle and moving piano work as AMP Fiddler directs our thoughts, ultimately topping off the track with just enough drum flare to ride into the sunset. Claude vonStroke takes his own approach to track, rising from the beginning to add dark complexity that makes it fit for Berghain and we hope Holy Ship! next month for our dancing pleasure.
