With the Winter Music Conference and both weekends of Ultra Music Festival inevitably coming to a close, dance music fans are set on going into state of sadness. However, Dirtyphonics are intent on keeping the good vibes flowing, through Dim Mak Records they have dropped their debut full length album titled ‘IRREVERENCE’.
‘IRREVERENCE’ is a ten track album that includes two preludes and eight full tracks. The featured appearances consist of Steve Aoki, Modestep, Foreign Beggars and Leila Moss – the vocalist of The Duke Spirit. This release is a madhouse of funky breakdowns and is packed with a myriad different styles that could satisfy even the most varied of tastes. As Sarah Polonsky of VIBE Magazine put it:
“Dirtyphonics gives the sounds of jump-up-metal-bass a digital Botox injection, freezing these tunes into your aural memory forever. The album breaks bass music’s backbone and flips genres the bird.”

With the release of ‘Dirty‘, the first single off this album that was put out last October, as well as the three-song EP package with remixes by Schoolboy and Culprate, its clear that Dirtyphonics is on the musical warpath and have no intention of slowing down.
