DJ Earworm Crams A Year of Music Into Four Minutes

We now take a break from your regularly scheduled EDM posts to bring you the United State of Pop 2012 from DJ Earworm. Earworm came out with his celebrated annual mashup this week, and whether you tune in to pop music or not, you can’t deny that his soundclips are an amazing way to condense a year of aural memories.

Have you seen a crowd go wild when Dada Life mixes Nom de Strip with Gangnam Style?
Don’t you cry a little every time Flo Rida steals a layer of some DJ’s track?

Personally, I’ll admit at the first time I heard “Levels” vs. “Somebody That I Used to Know” in Avicii’s set at Ultra was one of my favorite festival moments of the year. Yea, it’s trite. Deal with it.
