Paul Blair, known also as DJ White Shadow, has teamed up with the one-and-only Fatman Scoop to create a house track that’s shockingly experimental.
DJ White Shadow, known for his heroic video-game music productions as well as producing many tracks on Lady Gaga’s ARTPOP has never stuck one thing. His productions varies dramatically, and “WaFlLe” only proves this point more so.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know Fatman Scoop’s legendary history. He’s been featured on Grammy award-winning singles such as Missy Elliot’s “Lose Control” and has collaberated with dozens of dance music artist this decade, including Skrillex, David Guetta; even the late DJ AM, among many more.
Together in “WaFfLe,” DJ White Shadow and Fatman Scoop capture an unignorable trend within the 2015 dance music scene – that is, to be different, to explore different sounds, to combine genres elements some would consider unusual or incompatible.
