DLG. Launches Innovative Auditory Project ‘2 on 2’

Stemming for the mind of LA-native Dave De La Garza, DLG. is a captivating project that has been breaking down standards across the music industry. Influenced by the renowned artists of Mac Miller, Glass Animals, Jungle, and more, DLG. melts multiple genres together to create an infectious signature style of indie. Having garnered more than half a million monthly listeners and 40 million-plus streams on Spotify alone, DLG. is reigning in a new era of soundscapes.

Presenting his intriguing concept “2 on 2” to the world, DLG. is back with his two-track compilation, MARCH. The idea behind “2 on 2” is that DLG. will release two songs on the second of each month. MARCH’s first track is “DROWN ON YOU”, which is centered around DLG.’s chilling vocals. Analyzing the song, DLG. says, “‘DROWN IN YOU’ is a punchy, hypnotizing track inspired by people like Big Wild & MGMT. Simultaneously gritty & ethereal, driven by hard drums and deep sub-bass, it’s gonna be a super fun one at live shows.”

The second half of the EP is “CLOSE ONE!”, a soothing quicker-paced anthem that takes listeners on a beautiful journey through sound. Breaking down “CLOSE ONE!”, DLG. explains that it, “is fun, catchy, dancy, and inspired by people like Dayglow & Goth Babe. More lighthearted, it’s a reflection of the attitude I’ve had this past year. I listen to this one a lot while snowboarding, it makes me go faster.” Together, these two masterpieces mark an exciting beginning to DLG.’s “2 on 2” project.
