Norway native and LA-based producer and songwriter Thomas Sagstad first earned his stripes in the music industry by writing songs for bands like Asking Alexandria, Dirty Vegas, and collaborating with Grammy Award-winner Kaskade on their 2014 hit “Under The Stars”. Now he’s reinventing himself and returning to his deep house roots under the name DMND City.
With his remix of Marcus Schössow’s “Tell Me Why” for the Code Red Music label, DMND City’s effective use of keys and synths bring the formidable power of the song to another level. From beginning to end, DMND City gives the track an entirely new swing and energy to compliment the stirring vocals, crafting a completely unique rework that stands tall against the original.
