The time has come to get ready for EDC Week to begin. In less than seven days, people will have arrived in Las Vegas, and the adventure will begin. But EDC Las Vegas Day One isn’t until Friday night, and what do you do with all of that free time all week when (don’t kid yourself) you won’t be sleeping? Well how about checking out some of the coolest pool parties right on the strip at Drai’s Beach Club. Located on the roof of the Cromwell Boutique Hotel and Casino, just look at this view:
Siting 11 stories above the strip with unparalled views, this is the Las Vegas that you dream of. With multiple decks to fulfill all of your private table needs, and two massive pools with a walk-way splitting them to cross over to join the dance party right in front of the elevated DJ window booth (with curtains of course), you’ll have plenty of room to dance, and a lot to explore.
So let’s check out who the exciting artists are that will be playing this year.
Friday is the day that most people start to pour into Vegas to get the long weekend started off right with a pool party before going balls to the wall into night one of EDC Las Vegas. Start the party off right getting throttled with Bassjackers and Makj.
You will definitely be playing Marco! Polo! into both pools all afternoon, why not do it to the song that was made specifically for it from Bassjackers.
But you’ve got a double header on your hands and Makj will make sure that his time is wasted on nobody under the Nevada perfect blue sky. With a mix of house, electro, and some harder bass lines, Makj will make almost all of the water be down on the street after people go apeshit over his mix. This will give you a great idea of what’s to come.
So don’t waste your time, and grab your tickets now here.
For our second pool party we have the French Canadian duo made up of Christian Srigley & Leighton James, better known as Adventure Club. They are no strangers to Drai’s Beachclub and Nightclub, and they’re definitely not strangers to EDC Las Vegas either, playing for multiple years shortly after they emerged in 2011. Their Superheroes Anonymous mixes have always been some of our favorites, and have you feeling like you’re right there with them live. The original gets us every time.
But that’s definitely not all. Zeds Dead will also be gracing the decks that afternoon as well. From chill dubstep, to hard electro, to house, and drum & bass included, Zeds Dead always plays a unique set that never disappoints. Although we’re used to them closing out with insane stages and visualizations, I think with all of the beautiful people, shining sun, and the most stunning backdrop of all pool party on the strip, you’ll be just fine. Check out their fire set from Diplo & Friends and get ready for the craziness.
But there is no need to imagine being there, get your tickets to see both AC + ZC on Saturday, June 18th here now.
And we know what you’re thinking. After two full nights of EDC Las Vegas + two pool parties you need to take a break. Well I have a question for you in response: I thought this was Las Vegas, not Disney World, right? 😉 The dutchman Quintino is going to throw one hell of a party. To get you acquanted and sure it’ll pick you back up, first first get a taste of the happy house track that will be surely a hit in the pool.
But after we’re all hooked, it’s line and sinker because first it’ll be time to work work work.
From there lose yourself, just don’t go wandering off the guardrails ok? Promise? Ok cool. Grab your tickets here, and finish off your pool party series right.
But don’t forget that Drai’s is not only a Beachclub, but also a Nightclub, and their amazing After Hours. For Drai’s Nightclub, if you’re feeling like switching up your music for EDCWeek and need a little hip hop and rap, they’ve got you covered with the following lineup:
- Friday, June 17: Drai’s LIVE Presents Nelly
- Saturday, June 18: Drai’s LIVE Presents Travis Scott
- Sunday, June 19: TBA
And it doesn’t end there. If you never want the party to end, even after the nightclubs are letting out, After Hours is your next stop. With operating hours from 1am until 10am, you never have to stop. Now that’s a bloody party. So in theory you could get off of the shuttle coming back from the speedway and arrive at your hotel around 8am, quick change, and head straight to the afterparty, hang till 10am, go home and grab a quick shower and change, and straight to the pool parties above. Brilliant!
- Saturday, June 18: Nicole Moudaber
- Sunday, June 19: Chris Garcia and Friends
EDC Week is just about upon up, so get rest up, and Godspeed to us all!
