Insomniac’s newest trance venture will take over Brooklyn Hangar this weekend in NYC. Boasting quite the impressive lineup, this two day trance festival is sure to be one of NYC’s biggest trance events to date. Not long ago we saw Aly & Fila’s FSOE come to Governor’s Island to bring some progressive and uplifting trance straight to our ears. Although Dreamstate will also be strictly trance, we see more sub genres of trance in Dreamstate’s lineup. All the way from Solarstone’s pure trance to Infected Mushroom’s hard psytrance, Dreamstate has it all covered. It was initially thought that Dreamstate was withholding a name by teasing with “Coming Soon!!!” Interestingly enough however, “Coming Soon!!!” is actually the name of an Israeli psytrance duo, so there is no headlining name being withheld.
Today we will be taking a deeper look into another Israeli duo, Vini Vici. Composed of Aviram Saharai & Matan Kodash, Vini Vici have been rising through the trance scene with their impressive originals and consistency in productions. The duo is signed to the Denmark based label, Igoba Records. Igoba houses other trance/psytrance producers making it the perfect home for Vini Vici. They recently performed at Tomorrowland and have been featured at trance events all across the globe. In addition to their NYC performance, Vini Vici are also featured in several other Dreamstate events including the massive two day fest at Nos Events Center in Southern California.
Brooklyn Hangar will host a diverse mix of trance artists so there will be no time to get comfortable under one sub genre. We can expect a mix of Vini Vici’s best psy tracks as well as some progressive and pure trance mixed in.
