Drumcode Halloween returns to London dungeon Tobacco Dock for another year to get dark and deep courtesy of none other than Adam Beyer on Saturday 28th October. This Halloween stalwart features a devilish line up in a similar vein to all Beyer events of late, so be prepared to be taken over by the techno creature that lives inside you.
Joining Drumcode leader Adam Beyer, Antwerp export Amelie Lens will be setting up her decks and will lure you in playing iconic tracks like ‘Weight of the Land’ and ‘Resonance’. Her most recent release on Drumcode A-Sides Volume 6 ‘In Silence’ definitely creates parallels with her most well-known release ‘Exale’ which can be found on her Lyase EP.
London locals Dense & Pika will be back and back as we know them alongside Italian sound bender Enrico Sangiuliano who has unexpectedly altered the genre with his trademark tracks, soon to include collaboration with Adam Beyer ‘Preset Heaven’, also out on the newest A-Sides. The youthful Levon Vincent will also reveal his New York roots.
Marquis Hawkes makes his first appearance at Tobacco Dock as a newcomer after released on the likes of Houndstooth and AUS music. Being new, he is in midst of the evolution of his sound which merges both house and techno to create something unique as shown in ‘The Phoenix’.
Nick Höppner is perfect for this venue and especially good for Halloween with his eerie and otherworldly melodies. Reset Robot will compliment Nick but take it up a notch with some dance floor classics and new tracks from Creatures of Time. Sam Paganini will close with some thunderous techno that we all love for this intimate and inclusive event.
