Duo Duke and Jones, alongside vocalist Fjora, have released the semi-spooky themed single “Delusions,” elongating the upward trend the duo have been on. The single mixes a bit of indie with pop during the intro and first verses, gradually leading to a “less is more” styled trap drop that hits with vengeance. The single doesn’t try to overdue with louder than loud production effects, but instead uses a few key elements to bring the song to life – the result being well-worth the save to say the least.
2018 was a strong year for the duo and 2019 is looking similar, if not better. D&J have had the opportunity to remix Zeds Dead, Zedd and Jauz, with Zedd sharing the group was one “one of his favorite new artists.” Duke and Jones ingenuity comes from the heft they add to what they work on, the duo offering a range of experimental bass and trap-influenced bass releases which now account for over 2 million streams across major platforms collectively.
