This new track from Toronto’s DVBBS is one of the most interesting examples of genre transitioning I’ve heard, furthermore proving why “genre talk” will continue to submiss moving forward. We Are Electric features Simon Wilcox, who lays a bed of transcendent vocals over an ambient dub background, at least for the immediate. As the track pushes forward, it develops into big room electro with a ton of festival energy.
