This Portland Oregon duo known as Echos have been creeping up on the dance music scene with their highly chill, highly ambient indie sounds that you could pick out of a lineup. Their latest EP isn’t the only appealing project they are on top of right now, which is self-titled and gives a perfect glipse of what they offer. The duo have collaborated with the heavy house master himself, Seven Lions, creating the song “Cold Skin” that released on Monstercat – a match made in heaven.
For me, their sound is difficult to easily put into words, it’s very slow and steady, and the voices gently grip the mind and take you on a slow journey that satisfies the spirit via guitar and astounding male/female vocals. It just fits, it just works, you just feel it and it feels right.
One of the best parts of Echos is their branding – highly mysterious, misty and cloudy, filled with symbolism and art that provokes deep thought. Easily one of the highlights of the group. Expect to see more of this color scheme and style during the live show.
Echoes are currently on tour right now, taking their performance around the West and Midwest, their 12/3 date at The Roxy Theatre is set for LA and is sure to be killer. For more information on tickets see the below info.
