However, it seems that last year’s festival turned out to not only be a success for ID&T but also for the Georgia economy. According to analysis done by ICF International, TomorrowWorld injected $93.9 million into the Georgia economy with Atlanta seeing $71.8 million of that in its local economy – a 9% increase in Atlanta economic activity from TomorrowWorld 2014 vs. 2013.
TomorrowWorld 2014 saw 160,000 attendees at last year’s festival which expanded from the year before that brought 126,000 festival-goers. Across the 75+ countries and all 50 states represented, TomorrowWorld attendees were spending on average $79 locally a day, and last year’s festival brought the entire economic impact of TomorrowWorld’s existence to $173 million over the two year’s.
