Yesterday, Pasquale Rotella and his team at Insomniac released the highly anticipated EDC Las Vegas 2019 official trailer.
There’s nothing quite like the site of EDC Las Vegas. From the festival’s sheer magnitude alone to the mind-melting visuals of the stages, performers, and the headliners dressed head to toe in their best raver attire, EDC Las Vegas is an electrifying experience in a class of its own and this trailer perfectly parades that.
While EDC Las Vegas’s official Instagram account revealed the trailer to show that “love is the energy that connects us all,” its head honcho Pasquale Rotella took to his own account to inform his followers that the trailer is made up of all never-before-seen footage of the LED wonderland, which his team has been holding on to since last May.
Last year saw a new era for the festival, as it moved up its typical June hosting to a new May date in order to ease past conditions and concerns related to heat. This made way for the Insomniac team to open the gates to the first-ever Camp EDC, as seen in the opening of the trailer. On the camp grounds seated right outside the Speedway, over 20,000 campers were treated to special early morning sets, pool parties, early entry into the festival, and a new home in the desert to complete their EDC journey.
If you missed the chance to attend EDC Las Vegas 2018, make no mistake this time. The festival will return to its stomping ground at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on May 17-19, 2019. This year’s lineup as yet to be announced, but we can promise you that, as is tradition, it will be an unbeatable one.
