Bassrush is an institution in Southern California. For those of us not in SoCal, Bassrush’s North American takeover has answered our prayers this year. But you’re not fully immersed in bass if you don’t come to Bassrush Massive on Thursday, June 18 at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel to kick off your EDC experience.
And you don’t even need to worry about the set times, because they’re already out. Eight hours of some of the heaviest chest-pounding bass. Just look at this beauty:
Andy C, also known as the Godfather of drum & bass, although for only an hour, it will be the best hour of your night. As founder of RAM records, putting out some of the best d&b tracks in the world with such artists such as DC Breaks, Calyx, Bensley, and other fantastic artists. But you’re going for Andy C. And you’re know you’re going to hear old favorites like his VIP remix of “Heartbeat”:
…along with hopefully his newest remix of DJ S.K.T & Rae’s “Take Me Away”:
But it doesn’t stop there. Have you checked out the newest LP Resurrect from Zomboy? A mix of his own stellar new tracks that include “Back Once Again” along with “Ressurect”, you better bring your earplugs for the show, and a neck-brace for afterwards.
Last but not least, Excision. His full length album Codename X is still making waves as a mix of dubstep, drum & bass, electro house, and glitch hop. If that’s not enough variety to be heard live to satisfy you bass thirst, nothing will.
We could talk all day about Brillz, Bro Safari, Sigma, Kayzo, and Definitive also being on the lineup. But you need to find out for yourself. You’re going to be in Vegas right? Anything goes, and should go.
