EDC Las Vegas Asks the Question: Take the New Shuttles (& Payment Plan), or Check Out the 1st EDC Camp?

2018 is here, and the planning has begun. But with the arrival of EDC Camp this year, to camp, or to shuttle, that is the question.

Some people are born campers, and love to be out in the open and thrive under the stars. With a massive expanse of RV spots and glamping, along with The Mesa filled with pools, shops, and special performances, we’re sure that even with its first year, EDC Camp will be awesome. For those of us who prefer to attend as many pool parties as possible during the day, go straight to the festival, and then return to our hotel cave to take a quick nap before repeating, Insomniac has announced their new shuttles for 2018. Composed of four standard shuttles, and three premium shuttles, the redone shuttle system is looking to be a much needed improvement from the long wait times of 2017.

For the four standard shuttles, they will run from 6pm to 7am, with a two hour break from 1am to 3am. Two stops will be on the strip, on at Mid-Strip which is right next to the Linq, and another the MGM Festival Grounds, which is right next to Circus Circus. The other two stops will include Downtown for those staying in Old Vegas, and the Rio Hotel & Casino, which is off-strip, but very popular for festival goers.

The new Premier Shuttles that will be running this year will be located at the Hard Rock Hotel, MGM Grand, and The Stratosphere. The great thing about these options is not only can you reserve your departure and return time, but that you also get a lot of gift bag goodies and that you get an air-conditioned waiting area if things are running a little bit behind.

Obviously the shuttles aren’t $5 each way, so Insomniac is now providing shuttle layaway service as well so you can spread out those payments from now until the festival arrives, helping you pay for it.
