We’ve received great news today. Insomniac, the premier producer of electronic dance music festivals, announced that Electric Daisy Carnival will return to New York for the second time on May 17th and 18th, 2013. You’re probably thinking – that’s one less day then last year – and you’re right, but this only means the lineups will be stacked up. This year EDC New York will be held at Citi Field, home of the New York Mets. Tickets for this highly anticipated event will go on sale February 8th at 12 P.M. EST. Just like last year, Insomniac will be working with RPM Worldwide and the team behind Pacha New York as the local partner for the event.
If you attended last years EDCNY show, or any EDC event for that matter, you’d know that they’re known for their spectacular display of special effects, state-of-the-art lighting and sound as well as hundreds of theatrical performers, interactive art installations and pyrotechnics. EDC New York is one of Insomniac’s premier festivals on this years summer’s tour. All the stops include Chicago, Puerto Rico, Orlando and Las Vegas.

Two-day general admission tickets will start at $159.00 with VIP tickets starting at $299.00 (before service fees). A layaway option will be available. There will be a limited number of single-day tickets available at a later date. Minimum age for VIP is 21 and older.
