This year EDC Orlando is coming in HOTT with a lineup that is tough to beat, this is sure to be EDCO’s biggest yet as they celebrate their 10th anniversary. Leading up to the festival we’ll be showcasing some of our must-see artists for this year’s fest! This week we’ll be putting veterans Cash Cash under the spotlight!
American DJ trio consisting of brothers Jean Paul Makhlouf, Alex Makhlouf, and long-time friend Samuel Frisch aka Cash Cash, is an electronic music trio originally from New Jersey. Together they’ve released quite an impressive collection of singles, EPs, and five full-length albums, showcasing the trio’s ability to mix and master all of their music really showing fans their cross genres abilities.
One of their biggest hits to date, “Take Me Home” feat Bebe Rexha streamed over 100 million times and gained them attention globally.
Their follow-up single “Surrender” made it to the US Top 40 radio and reached #1 on US dance radio.
They also made a lasting impression with their summer anthem “Millionaire,” featuring the one and only, Nelly, which gained over 50 million streams.
In addition to their ample inventory of chart worthy originals, Cash Cash has also found victory in producing and co-writing fan favs like Krewella’s “Live for the Night,” and official remixes for major artists such as Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson, David Guetta, Hardwell, and more!
Having built a loyal fan base through the years with albums like 2008’s Take It to the Floor and 2012’s The Beat Goes On. Cash Cash prevailed with their latest fifth studio album release Say It Like You Feel It on May 14, 2021, via Big Beat, Atlantic.
The guys shared on Facebook, “Sometimes you might feel a little programmed what to think & say. Sometimes you might feel judged for every little word you say. Sometimes you need to just stop overthinking and just “Say It Like You Feel It.”
The 18-track album features guest appearances from Lukas Graham, Wiz Khalifa, Phoebe Ryan, ABIR, HARLOE, Tayler Buono, Wrabel, Brandon Colbein, Violet Days, Nasri, Alex Newell, Laura White, Georgia Ku, Conor Maynard, and Nikki Vianna. The trio even designed the cover, including all the characters and random phrases\texts alluding into the mind of Cash Cash.
The group continues to bring collaboration into all areas of their art as they feature artists during their live shows. Whether their touring, headlining a festival, or playing at one of their residencies in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, their known for bringing their friends along! Their guests have included big players such as Wiz Khalifa, Busta Rhymes, French Montana, Rae Sremmurd, ILoveMakonnen, Bebe Rexha, Lil Dicky & E40.
