Leading up to the festival we’ll be showcasing some of our must-see artists for this year’s fest! This week we’ll be putting Chicago bred duo Louis The Child under the spotlight!
Blend a musical smoothie of pop spirit, hip-hop, alt-rock, pulsing dance beats, future bass, and a dash of house and you get an uplifting electronic duo ready to take over clubs and festivals stages across the globe! Robert “Robby” David Hauldren and Frederic “Freddy” Judson Kennett aka Louis The Child has paved their own way sine jumping on the scene in 2013, becoming one of the largest names in dance music-producing hit after hit, exceeding 50 million Spotify streams and bringing smiles to all crowds that tune in.
After spending the 2010s dropping EPs and singles while building their fan base with steady touring, they released their official debut full-length, “Here for Now”, in 2020. Loaded with U.S. Dance Top 30 hits like “Free” with Drew Love, “Every Color” with Foster the People, and “Little Things” with Chelsea Cutler and Quinn XCII. Prior to that, they had releases such as their 2016 “Love Is Alive” EP, with guest vocalist Elohim and “Phone Died” with rapper Blaise Railey, “It’s Strange” with K.Flay, “Weekend” with Icona Pop, and “Fire” with Evalyn were instant hits.
