Spotify recently released two new charts showing the top most played songs in a country as well as the most viral. EDM claimed three of the five top viral spots with Avicii – Wake Me Up, Krewella – Live For The Night and Martin Garrix – Animals.
I’m not sure if Avicii’s tune was able to claim number one because people actually like it (I’m one of them) or if people were just in shock over the folk style combined with cheesy but still Avicii branded pop-house music.
