Zomboy, who was recently accused of stealing from Skrillex, is now about to put out a track that very closely resembles Dirtyloud’s “Vampires Come Out”. He’s calling it “WTF!?” and it’s set to officially release via Never Say Die Records on May 19th.
Part of the climax in “WTF!?” seems to be almost a carbon copy of “Vampires Come Out”. It’s hard to believe that the British electronic music producer and DJ, Zomboy, is essentially claiming that it’s all a coincidence. As previously mentioned, this isn’t the first time that Zomboy has been accused of copying ideas.
FTampa called Zomboy out on Twitter earlier today:
Listen to both tunes below and let us known your thoughts on Twitter and Facebook:

Its a pattern consisting of a single note…. the patterns are slightly different but… listen to any big room track. They all use that exact same note… and just change the pattern on the drop (sometimes not even that)… I think this only shows that big room sucks.
I retract my previous statement. After listening to both songs repeatedly. He straight up ganked that shit. Oh well, Zomboy is still one of my favorites.
I’m not sure how you can say it’s a rip off.. It’s just a single drop in Vampire’s come out. Not only that, it’s not the same progression, it’s not even the same timing. I’m not exactly how you can call this “copying”. Producers use similar sounds all the time, if zomboy had the exact progression, the same timing, and the same drops all the way through, then I would consider it stealing and so would anyone else. The fact of the matter is, he didn’t steal anything and he didn’t copy anybody. Sure it’s a similar sound, it might even be the same sound. Guess what? If they both bought that sound, they both own the rights to it. Sorry Zomboy made a better track.
This guy has done this again and again and again. We publicly oust people like Ashley Simpson and Milli Vanilli for faking shit and or not doing things themselves. This guy is so blatantly ripping off Sonny, and making a career out of it somehow?!!! He is ridiculous, been recently called out for ripping off Dirtyloud, and Knife Party before that. Does anyone want this guy to keep succeeding off of the originality and fresh innovation of new and young producers? I mean, can we get some quality control in here? Sad thing is, the music he’s making is good albeit a blatant ripoff so I guess for some reason he is getting a pass. SMH, “vomits”
