This past weekend, Boys Noize debuted his brand new moniker, Elax at Sound Nightclub in Los Angeles, hosted by AMF. The German producer played a mix between techno, acid, and electro house to the packed Los Angeles crowd. The Shark disco ball in the middle of the venue was a perfect representation of the monstrous night. Elax was dropping house records, Boys Noize singles, and new tracks as the crowd was dancing all night. Boys Noize is known for his many aliases, from Dogblood (his collaboration with Skrillex) and Handbraekes (his collaboration with Mr. Oizo), and now his solo debut as Elax is proving to be an exciting addition.
Our favorite part of the night was when Elax dropped his very first release, Reaktor. Take a listen to the electro-infused percussion heavy record below:
Elax performing live at Sound was just the beginning of this new venture. We hope to see more performances from Elax in the near future!
