In it’s fourth year of existence, New Jersey’s Electric Adventure has seriously stepped up its game with a fat lineup and a new venue…the beach in Atlantic City. In years past Electric Adventure featured primarily house, trap and hardstyle, but this year they’ve added a host of drum and bass, hip-hop, dubstep and electro soul acts including the titan of funk himself, Derek Vincent Smith. This all adds up to what will undoubtably be the festival’s biggest and best lineup to date.
The East coast’s largest oceanfront festival has more than doubled the amount of stages, from two in 2014 to five this year. Do LaB, noted for the creative and interactive art installations at Coachella, Lightning in a Bottle and dozens of others will be setting up shop on the beach in AC to dazzle and shade festival-goers. Cabanas and ocean swimming will also be available; each of these are elements of a beachfront festival that were noticeably absent last summer in Seaside Heights, NJ.
Here at WRR we are extremely excited to see Electric Adventure progress from a smaller, “rave” oriented festival to a huge, musically-diverse event which will rival other east coast fests like Moonrise Festival, EDC New York and New Jersey’s own F.A.R.M. Fest. Though early bird tickets already sold out through word of mouth, you can snag a weekend pass for $129 at EA’s website linked below.
