Nov/1/12 – Electric Daisy Carnival returns to Las Vegas Speedway June 21-23, 2013 a few weeks later than last years event. Over 320,000 ravers attended EDC over the three days this year, making it one of the largest dance music festivals in the world. The 2013 event was pushed back as Rotella hopes he can avoid the wind that caused night two of EDC to be shut down at this years event.
“The winds do die down as you get later into June,” says Pasquale Rotella, founder and CEO of Insomniac Events, which puts on EDC. “We were trying to avoid the heat last time, but the winds are way more of a problem.”
Pre-sale tickets for Electric Daisy Carnival 2013 go on sale November 7 and will be $150 for general admission and $450 for VIP. As we saw with the pre-sale Ultra tickets, they will go fast at the discounted rate so be prepared to buy. Last years event sold out and I expect the same thing to happen again, probably faster now that EDM has taken over.
