The holidays came early this year with the announcement of Electric Forest’s massive, double-weekend lineup. Located deep within the forest of Rothbury, Michigan, the 8th annual festival will take place over the course of two weekends, June 21 – 24 and June 28 – July 1.
Attendees of both weekends can get ready to groove deep within Sherwood Forest to headliners including long-time Forest veterans The String Cheese Incident and Bassnectar as well as the GRiZ Live Band, RÜFÜS DU SOL and ZHU. Week-specific headliners include Galantis performing on weekend one and Testpilot and Marshmello making exclusive appearances the following week.
Other artists gracing both weekends include Bonobo (live), The Glitch Mob, Cut Copy, Chromeo, Louis The Child, Malaa, and Marian Hill with more artists to be announced in the coming months.
Also included in Thursday’s announcement was the first round of EF curated events including curated stages by Bassrush, This Ain’t Bristol, Mr. Carmack presents Forward Thinkers, Green Velvet presents LaLa Land, Mau5trap, Rüfüs & Friends, Desert Hearts, and Soulection.
