Soon, the Sherwood Forest is going to be filled with beautiful people all coming together to experience all that Electric Forest has to offer. With gorgeous displays of lights, scenery, and stages, the production value of E4 is on par with some of the best music festivals in the world. This has created a loyal and devoted fan base whose passion for this festival knows no bounds.
The lineup of Electric Forest is a balance of Jam and Electronic that comes together to perfectly fit the vibes that accompany the Forest. With names like the String Cheese Incident, EOTO, and Cherub to quench your need for live instrumentation, and Zeds Dead, The Glitch Mob, and Paper Diamond to satisfy your need for electronic, the lineup covers all bases.
Today, Electric Forest released 9 new artists to the lineup. MOBY (dj set), Schoolboy Q, Kaytranada, Kastle, The Floozies, Eric Volta, What So Not, Francesca Lombardo, S/HE will be joining the rest of the stacked lineup in Rothbury. Many Foresters are confused by this rather unceremonious release of additions, while others assure us that this is not the official Phase 2 lineup. Last year’s Phase 2 announcement was accompanied by a video that included names like Above and Beyond and Grizmatik (with Special Guests), among others. I’m excited to see what else Insomniac and Madison House are able to put together to make this the best Forest ever.
