Electric Forest is known for many things, not the least of which is the unbelievably positive vibes that pour out from nearly every attendee. It’s a very unique atmosphere, and we think a large portion of it could be due to the great, hands-on relationship Electric Forest HQ has with their patrons. They’re always cooking up ways for more fan interaction, and announced last night, it seems like we all might be attempting to break a world record during the weekend.
On Friday, June 26th, Electric Forest will need the help of its attendees as they seek to break the world record for largest group hug. The record currently stands at 10,554…so it’ll require a group effort, but that seems to be in line with what the Forest is all about.
The attempt will go down at 2:30 that afternoon, so plan on making history if you’re going to be a part of this unforgettable weekend. Stay tuned here for all your Electric Forest news and cross your fingers for a phase 2 artist announcement in the near future. Only 90 more days.
