Electronic music fans everywhere can finally breath a well-deserved sigh of relief. Electric Zoo 2014 will be returning this year to Randall’s Island Park in New York City for Friday August 29th, Saturday August 30th, and Sunday August 31st.
There was some speculation after two festival-goers died at EZOO 2013 that the 2014 incarnation would be canceled or moved to a different location. Luckily, it seems EZOO’s organizers have put city officials at ease with the festival’s presence on Randall’s Island after they released new heightened security guidelines that will include drug sniffing dogs, more plain-clothed police officers, free electrolytes for concert-goers and shorter days.
The Phase One lineup was released today, and WhiteRaverRafting.com is excited to see some of the legendary EZOO natives return including Armin Van Buuren, Sasha, Paul Van Dyke, Knife Party, Mat Zo, Laidback Luke, Dash Berlin, Dada Life, W&W, Clockwork, Wolfgang Gartner, and David Guetta. The organizers never seem to disappoint, as they are bringing on a cavalcade of EDM’s biggest and most respected names. Gesaffelstein, who just released a phenomenal album last year, is also going to be playing what is sure to be an unforgettable set at EZOO this coming August.
