Though it almost feels like being warped into a 90’s anti-drug PSA, we have to commend Electric Zoo for being the first festival to truly take a step in the right direction for safety awareness. Following last year’s unfortunate tragedy that left future reincarnations in limbo, EZoo is taking progressive action to prevent any further complications.
The leaked video on their official YouTube account (titled “The Molly”) depicts a man partaking in some sort of party favors while trying to connect with a cute girl, then succumbing heavily to the effects of what we suppose is MDMA. Once under the influence, he begins to act out the proposed symptoms of the aforementioned substance, reciting every possible emotion he feels, and then suddenly – erratic nonsense.
In the end, he freaks out the girl he was trying to talk to and eventually loses his marbles as the video cuts to a symbolic black screen with a tunnel vision of light behind him. We’re not sure if this is what every person who experiments with MDMA feels, but it at least illustrates a possible dangerous path to avoid. We urge our readers to watch this video at least once.
