Elements Lakewood Label Spotlight: Dirtybird Records

Since its inception in 2005, the San Francisco based record label Dirtybird has cemented itself as a go-to imprint for anyone looking for fresh takes on funky tech-house.

This spring, members of the Dirtybird flock are flying East to the mountains of Pennsylvania to take over the Incindia fire stage at BangOn!NYC’s Elements Lakewood. On Friday, May 25, Dirtybird head-honcho Claude VonStroke will join players Fisher and Ardalan to bring a taste of the label’s signature beats to the second annual festival.

After a memorable performance at last year’s Lakewood, VonStroke will make his great return to the mountains of Northern PA to serve up a set of bumping tech-house beats surrounded by the flames of the Incindia stage. Hot off the heels of his latest release with EPROM, we’re looking forward to a set brimming with techno, house and some signature Claude classics.

Also representing the label are Fisher – whose debut Dirtybird track “Ya Kidding” took the house music-verse by storm with its release earlier this year, and Ardalan – an artist with a taste for wiggly, gritty basslines and a talent of revving up dancefloors.
