Elements NYC is set to return in just a few short weeks. This time around, the festival has expanded into 2 days and will be held at a soon-to-be announced new location that promises an industrial venue with abandoned silos and towers, former factories with soaring 60ft ceilings, and city skyline views over 1000ft of waterfront. Taking place August 12 & 13, five electrifying elemental stages make their comeback – Earth, Water, Air, Fire, and the Fifth Element – with massive performances from headliners Griz, Zeds Dead, Flying Lotus, The Knocks, Kerri Chandler, and one other unannounced artist. But what truly makes this festival what it is, is its wonderful, wacky, and eccentric components like the interactive & large-scale themed art installations, 3D projection mapping, death-defying aerial performances, magnificent art cars, delicious food vendors, exotic clothing/jewelry vendors, rides, slides, fire breathers, circus performances, and more! Like all of BangOn!NYC’s notorious events, there is a laundry list of activities to set your sights on, besides grooving to good beats, of course. Here’s a look at what you can expect to experience over the weekend:
Health & Wellness
Rejuvenate and become one with yourself again. In the midst of chaos, join the Healing Garden at the festival for daily yoga practices, massage, herbalism, dance classes, sound baths, Reiki, and educational talks. Elements has said that they’re excited and humbled to offer this supportive community space to connect, tune in and learn. Snaps to that!
Extreme Pro-BMX Fire Stunt
Get up close and personal on the Fire Stage & watch death-defying pro-BMX bikers jump over crushed cars, towering fire cannons, and more.
Thunderdome
Experience the spectacle inside the festival’s brand new dome as the battles of the elements take place, screaming and swinging into the night.
Shade Structures & Water Stations
Stay hydrated by stopping by multiple water stations throughout the festival and take a breather under one of our numerous shade structures.
Interactive Theater
A post-apocalyptic interactive theater experience titled “The Center for Elemental Findings,” will make you search to re-find the building blocks of humanity.
