The third installment of Claptone’s Charmer Remixed is a continuation of the masked producer’s remix series of his debut album. This time featuring a light hearted dance ready remix of ‘I Write Your Name’ from the mind of Emanuel Satie. This Berlin native has been hard at work this past year with a series of releases and features from the likes of Mixmag and Data Transmission. His old school approach to production takes you back to the golden age of house with it’s percussion and hi hat focus.
Satie’s remix of ‘I Write Your Name’ is a perfect exemplification of the previously mentioned. In lieu of the mellow disco vibes of the original, Satie takes a much more lighthearted dance heavy approach. Taking full advantage of a pleasing deep melody throughout that will force your body into a groovy trance. All while supported with dominant high hats, a ominous vocal clip, and playful chimes making this the perfect day club track.
