Emazing Lights has been featured on the site before, but this time they have gone beyond the call of duty: changing a young disabled mans life – and now many other lives- which happened to occur only due to the ambitious and outgoing nature of a single glover named Matthew.
Matthew is a seventeen year-old high schooler who manages cerebral palsy and paraplegic disabilities. Life certainly hasn’t been fair to the youngster, but due do to the thoughtfulness of his brother, who encouraged him to glove, he’s now receiving a well-deserved spotlight that few experience in their life.
A while back, Matthew’s brother casually noticed Matthew doing hand-dancing motions. Not long after, a glove set was soon in his hands and Matthew was practicing away.
To Matthew and his family’s surprise, his new hobby was acting as a form of therapy. Arm mobility and finger dexterity was undeniably improving, his peers were noticing, his parents were thrilled.
After his family contacted the CEO, Emazing Lights invited Matthew for a picture and a meetup. Inspired by the experience, Emazing Lights pledged to make a difference that goes beyond one life alone.
They have now started the Glove 4 Glove initiative, which promises to donate one pair of glove to someone in need for every glove purchased. This is a unique way to make a cool, meaningful difference in another’s life that’s virtually never been done before.
