Enzo Siragusa and Martin Buttrich have finally released their highly anticipated collab project for FUSE, Three Squared EP and it does not disappoint. These two prove just how dynamic of a duo they are, crafting an ideal EP that encapsulates the label’s distinct sonic palette.
Offering three dance floor banger tracks, Three Squared is fueled by influence from label head Enzo Siragusa’s UK rave roots form the mid 90s and fine-tuned by Grammy-nominated Martin Buttrich. The EP opens with “Dangerman,” an intriguing listen that melds jungle’s original elements with the sound of today’s house scene. Following this comes “Lifted Spirits,” a funky, feel-good tune adorned with touches of old school Martin Buttrich, before it closes out with what might be our favorite of the trio, “Apache,” a darker offering and vinyl only exclusive.
This release also marks FUSE’s largest London collaboration to date, as they’re set to take over Tobacco Dock’s Car Park. Those in attendance will be witness to Three Square getting lots of love and a live set from Martin Buttrich.
