This week we are joined by a young Indonesian producer, Erik Soto. I met Erik last year, right around the time when future bass started to become mainstream. His remix of “Latch” by Disclosure got a lot of traction and it is still one of my personal favorites. He went on to win a Cymatics / Heroic recordings hosted remix contest not to long ago. Erik has a very distinguishable sound that always puts a smile on my face. From small tid-bit percussion fills to joyous and euphoric chord progressions; this guy is one to watch out for in the near future.
