Insomniac’s premiere Halloween festival, Escape Psycho Circus, is bringing some of the biggest names in electronic music to the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, CA, October 28-29. When the lineup was released, there was one producer in particular that stood out amongst the rest. The artist we are referring to is one of our favorites, Andrew Rayel.
Andrew Rayel is a young Moldovan DJ and producer, known as a modern day Mozart and also commonly referred to as the “new Armin van Buuren”. Rayel began his musical journey at an early age by studying orchestral music. He has continued to stay true to his orchestral background, incorporating classical components in his productions. Over the years, his unique sound has gained him recognition from the Armada Music label and the trance legend himself, Armin van Buuren.
His 2014 debut album, Find Your Harmony, introduced us to some of the most beautiful pieces of music. The album is full of tracks that showcase his extensive piano skills, many of which are accompanied by uplifting lyrics and powerful vocals. Rayel combines these elements in a way that takes you on an emotional journey, yet still maintains an uptempo sound. His popular tune, “One In A Million”, is the perfect example of this. Some of his current singles include, “Once In A Lifetime Love” featuring Kristina Antuna, “Winterburn” with Digital X featuring Sylvia Tosun, and more recently “All Systems Down” with KhoMha. These newer releases also exhibit the same type of power. His originals and remixes can be heard in his Find Your Harmony radio show, as well as frequently featured in the A State Of Trance show.
Rayel is a leading name in the trance scene and as a result constantly touring around the world. He has played some of the largest music festivals including Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland, Stereosonic, A State of Trance events, and more. Lucky for us, he will be adding Escape Psycho Circus to his tour list this year. If you are looking for a set that will make you dance, but also give you the feels, make sure to include Andrew Rayel in your festival schedule. Set times have not been released yet, but he will be playing on Saturday, October 29 at the Ghouls’ Graveyard stage. Make sure to take a listen below to get an idea of the greatness that is Andrew Rayel.
