Originally hailing from Greece, Detlef is at home in the studio producing originals, remixing tracks by renowned artists on Hot Creations, Moon Harbor, and Toolroom, or flying around the globe from London to Denver to Manchester. He’s a hot commodity with no end in sight. His original summer hit “JayDee” has recently risen to his own #2 highest sold track on Beatport in less than three months, and there’s good reason why:
To put in simply, each track carries a bass line with just the right amount of funk that rides on quirky samples which makes it impossible to engage, or stand still for that matter. Another favorite EP of ours without a doubt is Kinky Tail EP released on Hot Creations right before the summer of 2016, which is a fusion of soul and disco that label-owners Jamie Jones and Lee Foss continue to deliver with upcoming artists such as Detlef, time and time again.
