Wale is dipping into the dance music game. Famous for tracks like “Chillin'” and “Pretty Girls,” Wale has now founded his own label, recently releasing a new single, a first for the label.
The imprint is called Every Blue Moon and the first single, complimented also by a full-scale music video released alongside, is “The Night Is Young.”
The tune tactically mixes bits of old school and new school genres to form what it is. For example, the vocals lean more toward a hip-hop/r&b vibe while the beat focuses on trance percussion and classic house vibes.
DC based DJ Money, known for his mixing skill, is picking up strong on the producing game. Pulling bits and pieces and making it work, but DJ Money’s “The Night Is Young,” does it right.
